Compression Testing Question
My FE experience has been limited to solid lifters, but I have a question.
When performing a compression check on a hyd lifter engine, can the lifters bleed down enough (during cranking) that by the time you get to the last few cylinders, the cylinder pressure becomes significantly lower?
If so, it might be yet another good reason for doing leak-down tests instead.
