1967 F100 engine swap
John, That's an interesting fact. An inline 6 option and a big block option but no small block. When your talking about a 40 year old truck, there's no telling what might have been swapped out.

F250 swap
i am seeing some good information. I am getting ready to do the same thing with my 67 F250 ... taking the 240 I6 out and dropping a 302 out of a 68 or 69 with ether the stock C4 or someone told me a C6 with the C4 bell housing was a good option
You need 69-79 302 SBF or 77-79 351M/400 perches to put in a SBF. The 302 came in mid 69 so you will have to drill new holes as shown here:

For a SBF bell housing C-6, they were used in F-150's/Broncos up to 96, and by 351W's in F-250/350's to 1998.
