engine swap

I have been posting here a lot recently, but i have decided to give up on my current block. i found an inline 6 out of a 67 F100 with the c4 transmission, long block with everything it needs to run including the belts already installed. mine is a 72 302 with the c4. i know i have to change engine mounts and radiator hoses, but is there really anything more to it than just plugging everything in?

might need different trans kick down bracket/rod and throttle linkage. Possibly different radiator depending on inlet/outlet placement. Fan shroud might also be different.

I'd check tran lengths as you may need to switch drive shafts. Sometimes things seems so easy until doing the install and Ford changed many things different. Like drive line front yokes verses slip yoke to fixed yokes.

You will need to move the motor mounts, but they are the same for the V-8 and IL 6. I had to do it, when I did m chassis swap. Being that the 6 is longer, I think I remember moving them back on the frame, about 1.75 inches... could be mistaken on the distance, but the frame was punched for both the V8 and 6

Are 4wd with frame mounts were setup for both engines I6 & V8 with threaded frame holes. so it was easy to swap by just unbolting move to the other threaded holes.

I think the 2wd is setup the same.
