used 2000 f150
Im thinking of buying a 2000 f150 4x4,supercab with a 5.4 and auto trans. Just looking for any advice, or experiences. It's got 80,000 miles and i'm a little hesitant to get involved with it. Do these trucks last? Any advice/ insight greatly appreciated.

I have a 1999 Expedition (F-150 station wagon) with 81,000 miles on it. I maintain it carefully. Looks good, runs great. I'd have no problem hopping in it and driving cross-country.
It really comes down to how the truck was maintained by the previous owner. I don't see a problem in forecasting a 150,000+ mile life for my 1999.
