Okay new update. There was no vacuum at the MAP sensor, tracked down to a broken line under the intake box. Repaired that...Much better. Not kicking tons of fuel out the exhaust but it's still got a miss.I reset continuous codes.Drove it about ten miles yesterday.Parked it until nightime when it was cooler and then it wouldn't start...Like there was no spark at all, just turning over.I'm gonna pull codes again today and see if she's saying something else now.
Okay more new info. After replacing the TPS and fixing a vacuum line she's still missing.Rechecked the codes and now I'm getting:
31--EGR VALVE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE LOW OR VACUUM REGULATOR SOLENOID CIRCUIT PROBLEM OR EGR VALVE NOT CLOSED.
44--PROBLEMS IN THERMAL AIR CONTROL(NEW CODE AFTER FIXING STUFF)
25 KNOCK SENSOR NOT DETECTED
Now I pulled the vacuum line to the EGR and there was no vacuum. Is there suppossed to be constant vacuum?I couldn't see any visible damaged to the line. There was also no vacuum to the air pump I believe it's called. The belt operated mechanism next to the battery. It has one vacuum line on it but no vacuum there either.
Both these vacuum lines run to a solenoid box that while it was pumping all that fuel was clicking an awful lot.Could it be a bad solenoid?
And can the EGR valve (if it is the problem)make the engine miss?
