instrument panel I.D. lights
Have 1989 ford f-150 with in line 6 cyl. After starting the truck all of the id lights go off except the one that is red and says ENGINE, could you tell me what the problem might be? Thank You Forklift Charlie

The computer has picked up on something that needs attention.
You first need to retrieve the codes from the cmputer and write them down. Then repair or attend to the computer's needs.
A code reader can be purchased at parts house.
Once the work has been taken care of,you may clear the computer by dis-connecting the battery for 1/2 hour or using the code reader to delete them.
