Loses Power on Acceleration???
My 2001 Ford 150 Super Crew with Triton 5.4L has begun to lose power on heavy acceleration? I have already changed the fuel filter thinking it my be getting straved for fuel but did not resolve the issue. This loss of power also feels as though the transmission does not want to kick into passing gear? Could this be a partially plugged catalitic convertor? Or is this a transmission problem? Can anyone help?

Hi Shadow and welcome to the forum 
I would start by cleaning the MAF sensor. If it's dirty it can feel exactly like a plugged fuel filter.
There are instructions on that in the Frequently Asked Questions at the top of this forum.
