Mine was actually pretty accurate before I added my 315's to the truck. Now my speedo is off, causing the overhead unit to make incorrect calculations too I assume, as I am going farther than the odometer thinks I am, therefore making the computer think the truck is burning more fuel to go less distance. My truck is in the shop at thi9s very moment getting re-flashed to smooth out the idle and getting the PCM programmed for the 315's (hopefully). Last time they tried to reprogram the PCM for tires at another dealer the PCM wouldn't accept the programming. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Everything I've read in this thread makes complete sense and I'm coming to terms with the fact that I've been assuming something was wrong with my truck
when in fact I wasn't asking the right questions. ( My shrink seems to think I'll have it whooped after a couple hundred more sessions. ;-) )
I noticed that while resetting the ave miles, it appeared that depending how long the buttons were pressed, there are some other recalibrations as well. one was the compass I'm not sure on the other. Are there any other neat tricks that
I should know about?
\thanks guys
