X codes will leave you nose high. They are part of snow plow package and intended to carry alot of weight. They will provide about 2.5 inches of lift to the front end. To level the front use U codes in V10 and V codes for PSD. This will raise front about 1.5 inches and provide the extra travel you need to avoid bottoming out.
You could replace U-bolts during swap also. Some think it is needed but I used originals.
I suggest using longer shocks even for the U or V codes based on my experience. I have a V10 and run U codes. I'm running F-350 part number Monroe reflex on the front. The extra height blew out my Edelbrock stock length shocks(they had 70K miles on them, about 25K with new springs). You can get by with stock length for U or V for awhile, but not for X.
I bought from dealer at cost $112 each. Lucked out on install, Ford wrench did for cash really cheap.

No, Part numbers vary by weight rating and year. Check with a good Ford dealer. Check chart on diesel stop posted by Bruce 1954. It shows codes, weight rating and change in height.
