brake rotor removal

I'm trying to get at the spindle to replace the ball joints on my 82 f-150. The rotor seems to be stuck onto the hub pretty solid, like there's lots of rust in there. Any tips for getting it off? I've been hitting it with the sledge hammer just between the studs but it doesn't seem to be moving it. I tried heating it with a blow torch (don't have oxy/acet) too but still didn't budge.

I don't have to unbolt the hubs do I??

oops!! I just took a look in the manual - saw that it was part of the hub. Boy do I look stupid!! Oh well, at least I noticed before I broke something.
