Started on my 82 F-100 short flareside. Pulled the box and cab off and discover I have some framework to do. I've heard there are manufactures of frame sections. Any body know of this or do I just search the auto recyclers.

best to do is go search the junkyards (if there is many in canada).
as far as i have seen, anything from 80-96 with fit, and f-150/250/350 are the same. try to get something from 90 and above. at least that is where you need to start down here in PA.
9 chances out of 10, you'll have to remove it yourself. if you dont have a torch, best way to do remove the rivets are X'ing the top with a grinder with a cutoff wheel, and then knocking the pieces off with an air chisel. then use the air chisel (with a straight punch) and knocking it out.. (sometimes they are hard, but they will come out, make sure you dont bend the cross member, they are kinda fimsy).
when I did they ones on my f-250, I alsocut the legs off (took the rivets off), and took they away to be sandblasted and painted with good PPG paint, and bolt everything back together. (i use grade 8 bolts to be sure, but you probably only need grade 3 or 5).
