I do not think 17mpg claims are wild or inflated unless someone is adding 34foot 5th wheel up and over Ratone pass on August 15th, then I freely say BS! I state elsewhere that we can get 14-16mpg out of our 2 PSD 6.0L very heavy and very fast. But even backing the 6.0Ls down to below 65 in Houston traffic (and get yourself run down!) then out I10 to I35 we only raise it to around 17mpg. So when some one jumps in with 19mpg or greater I suspect a little inflating or a very slow empty run.
I am curious about what agregious posts of gasser boasting you are peeved about.
I been here and the diesel site since early 01 and onle a few stupids who cliam V10s get wild mpgs and can haul anything any where. Most eveybody else is always looking for FIKP, exhaust mods, chips, or Banks kits to help with the hauling.
