i can see them matbe picking it up off of the line but with 600hp i dont see him having a problem keeping some weight on the nose going down the track

the trucks have a weight limit, and the guys reach it by adding weight to the front ALOT of weight one of the guys around here runs 2wd without looking at the rules I believe the max is 4800lbs, his truck without the weights is 3100lbs then he hangs tractor weights, and still pulls the front wheels off the ground with a small block (unfortanatly its a chebbie), and is not running ag tires but has tire with almost no tread as they are ground down to about 1/2" lugs that look like wore out paddle tires. And with a NA 377 sbc I doubt he is even putting out 600hp.

okay i guess im wrong. I've just never seen it myself or figured enough traction could be mustered with that much weight on the front end to pull it off the ground

I have never seen a 4wd truck bring the front end up, but ive seen the backs come up. I agree with the at's, cause you can spin really fast and get good traction.
