Mine got muddy and acted the same way. Wipe off the ice, snow, rain, mud and it will stop doing it.

I think they are worth every penny!

I have heard they will fog up like a windshield when they encounter temp changes. They say just wipe them off if this happens, would probably be true for ice as well.
