rare trucks/ford only please.
look what i started! in answer to my own question, the mercs were made in canada, and the fords were made in....AMERICA,YEAH AMERICA!yeah canada, too.
a big thank you to, tryme...i checked out his website, and i fell in love with another truck, not a ford... but a merc. a 1956 red merc,
has my engine and tranny in it, 302 and c6.what more does a ford/merc guy need?all i need now is...MONEY, no big surprise there.
seriously now
i learned alot from that website, like its o,kay to love another truck
even if its not a ford.not your typical love hate relationship...
a ford by any other name is still a ford...mike.

this looks like the same truck that some guy in VT told me I can have IF i took it off his property! His is a 67 F350 2wd crew EXCEPT that the bed was missing. I am under the impression that this was a rare truck! I never went back to VT to get it (too long of a drive) I am in New Jersey! But im telling ya, it looks exactly the same! I am curious if this one is a 1 ton crew like the one I was supposed to get!
regards
Ben

Ben,
In Denver there is a guy with a 72 or 73 F-350 Crew that has a huge cabover camper mounted on the frame (no bed). The camper was "custom" made by Mitchell who was a premier camper builder here in Colorado in the 70's. Guy says he bought it from the original owner who "was a personal friend of Mr. Mitchell". I think these are pretty rare...I've seen a few F350 reg cabs with this set up but this is the only crew cab I've seen.
