How true! I once drove one. I'm still mowing under mine, but atleast it was one of the 2% that made it back home. When I save up enough money, I'm gonna pay someone to take it off my hands. Bronco894x4
Holds true for the smaller trucks too. Had a Chevy S-10 and drove it from OK to GA, where it stayed. Bought a Ranger Supercab to replace it and 180K miles later, it's still going strong.
>Also GM says 98% of the Chevvy trucks made in the 70's are

there has to be 50% of the chevy trucks from the 70's anbd 80's in manitoba's junk yards. those things are in every scrap yard. theres the odd one on the road but the 73-79 fords out number them by at least 3-1
I just thought of something. One of my chevy driving friends gave me an mp3 called rusty chevrolet. Anyone that's into downloading, look it up on kazaa and see what ya think. I think it's hilarious but my dad didn't. Probably becuz half of the song is true about his truck! I may try to see if I can't put it on my website sometime but I don't know...
Thanx!

Heck, at our junk yard the Fords that come in, and aren't totaled, are used by the workers to run around and get parts in until they finnally give out due to lack of oil or water. That can take years to happen. The chebbys come in in pretty nice shape and dissapear within a few weeks, guess those parts don't last long.
