CD Changer interchange

Does anyone know if the cd changer from a 97 F150 will fit in my 2001 Supercrew? The 2001 has the indash single CD stereo.

It should, as long as the radio can handle it.

I'm about to do the same thing to my rig, only I have a Ford changer out of a '00 Taurus that I'm working on selling.

CD Changer

Hi guy if you have the cd changer mounted behind the rear seat save yourself some money. and remove it by removing four mounting screws and dissassemblle the unit with I believe four phillips screws and clean out the dust and grim from mechanical assembly with alcohol and some q-tips carefully note any dissassembly and use a light weight lubricant. I did and it works flawlessly.
