Getting annoyed here..2000 f350 and i have the brake controller plug but cant find where it plugs in!!!!...there are a few plugs open but it doesnt match the plug I got..arent they the same..Got this one from my buddies 2005 F250,,, end is kinda square with 4 flat prongs inside. I have a rectangular ped5 plug right where the previous owner had his controller. the plug in truck says ped5 on plug and its at bottom to my right...right under the dash..HELP..PLEASE
open the panel under the steering wheel, look to the right side of that opening, you will see a black plug, move that out of the way a little and look through the metal frame that has holes in it, through one of the holes you will see a open gray plug with silver pins in it.
I see it but the plug i have"in hand" to the plug in truck doesnt match up..Are they the same???? both plugs have prongs sticking out!...The one to the controller..from ford has flat ones, the truck one inside has round ones??!!!!

they are not all the same where they plug into the truck, you have to get one that has the plug for your truck on one side and plugs into the controller on the other. or you can get a ford plug from the dealer that plugs into the plug on your truck and has wires on the other end to hard wire it in to the controller plug...ford part #yc3t14a348p260g
