Brake Question

Hello all, is it acceptable to use a 7/16" - 3/8" adapter on a front brake hose to wheel cylinder connection. I have not been able to locate a correct brake hose for my 60 F100 4x4. Would there be any safety concerns with such a setup ?

While I have no practical application from which to answer your question, as an engineer, I can tell you that fluid does not care much about orifice size. It just moves faster thru the smaller size. Since the brake game is all about volumes in/out of the cylinders, go for it.
IMHO

Brake hose

Unless the 4x4 line to wheel cylinder brake hose is different from a 2WD; you can get them at most auto parts stores (autozone, NAPA, etc.). I just picked one up the other day from Sacramento Vintage Ford for $22.95...
