I recently purchased a 1992 Ranger STX 4x4. The other day I noticed the brackets that attach the cab to the frame are rusted and broken. Has anyone seen this on other Rangers? I've doen a fairly exhaustive search of the net for replacement brackets. Thus far I've had no luck finding them. Any ideas on where I can find replacement brackets????

I had to on my 87 Ranger, the cab mount's were also rusted out, though there was enough left of the outside edge of the support, that i just cut out a some 1/4 flat steel about 3" by 5" square and then drill out the mounting hole and welded the flat steel right on top of what was left of the mount.
had to trim the flat steel to fit around the contours of the mount of course but it seemed to work out pretty well for me, did the 2 mounts in front by the radiator, the ones in front of the cab was in good shape and the 2 mounts at the rear of the cab.
I did this also when I was doing my v8 engine swap. had the truck on ramps/jack stand and then used a Lift to pick up the cab/front clip 4' above the frame for putting in the engine, set the cab back down, did the mount when I had the cab off of the frame, so i had plenty of room to work with getting my replacment plates in and welded down good.
