flywheel goof!
flywheel goof!
I removed the flywheel on my 82 f150 inline-6 to get it resurfaced and later read
that I should index its position to the crank for installation purposes, however I did not do this. The motor is on the stand so I can't check it out yet but I'd like to know if I made a mistake and what should I do about it. The motor is rebuilt and ready for the flywheel.....I am hoping it only goes on one way!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I changed the clutch in my 95 F150 back in January. I didn't mark the flywheel to the crankshaft when I took it off to have it resurfaced. It only went on one way when I put it back together. I haven't had any vibrations from it so it must be on the right way.
