flywheel goof!

I removed the flywheel on my 82 f150 inline-6 to get it resurfaced and later read
that I should index its position to the crank for installation purposes, however I did not do this. The motor is on the stand so I can't check it out yet but I'd like to know if I made a mistake and what should I do about it. The motor is rebuilt and ready for the flywheel.....I am hoping it only goes on one way!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No need to index unless the rotating assembly has had a custom balance job. Mark.

I changed the clutch in my 95 F150 back in January. I didn't mark the flywheel to the crankshaft when I took it off to have it resurfaced. It only went on one way when I put it back together. I haven't had any vibrations from it so it must be on the right way.

nope your good the bolt holes are unevenly spaced so it will only go on one way and the 200 is a zero balanced motor so it real doesnt matter
