Tuners / Programmers

I am a little curious as to what kind of mileage everyone has on their trucks using a tuner or programmer, and what, if any problems have been caused by using one, and what type of setting the truck is set on. All in all, looking for the reliability factor involved with them. Are these hurting the trucks in any way ?

Hypertech Power Programmer III, For the last 90,000 miles on stage 3!! No problems what-so-ever!! It cut my fuel mileage by 1 MPG!! Getting 16 MPG right now was getting 18 but slightly larger tires also cut my mileage by 1 MPG!!

I just got a predator and set it to +60hp filled the tank reset the mileage computer. So far average mileage has increased to 22.6 from 16.0, I'm at about half tank. Problems?........none yet and none expected.

Programmers recalibrate the conputer on you truck!! Do it by hand!!

Not really interested in any change in mpg, interested in hp gain. Just posting results.

I installed AFE stage 2 and reprogramed my 2002 F250 cc/lb 7.3 with a Edge Evolution.
My mileage before was never beter that 13.7 now it is running an average of 22.6 with a considerable performance increase.
