Diagnose codes
My 94, 3.0 has shown a tendency to flash check engine light occasionally. Seems to be triggered by wet or cold (below 15 degrees) weather. Codes read are 172, 173, and 212. (O2 sensor not switching, lean and rich, and tach erratic) Its happened several times with the only noticeable symptom being a temporary slower idle. No missing or stalling. Check engine light goes off after a few minutes and the engine continues to run well. Since there's no immediate threat to performance, I haven't started ripping out or replacing anything yet. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it)Those 3 codes pop up every time the light acts up. Does anyone have an idea as to possible cause? What shall I prepare for?
