speedometer will not work 94 f250
My truck set in a garage for three years and the battery went dead it a f250 4x4 94.Every thing work after getting a new battery but my speedometer. I check the fuse it ok the mileage comes up but don't change when i drive it.I check the senor on the rearend it hook up and look good. I check my recalibration it comes up ok and is set where it should be for my tires sizes.

Sensor on Rear End
My truck did the same thing. My speedometer and my odometer didnt work but all my other gauges worked. Since i didnt know much about it i sent it to a local mechanic and he replaced the sensor on my rear end and when i got it back it worked like a dream. My dad checked the sensor before we sent it and he said it looked fine but obviously it wasnt. Hopefull that will Help.

Also i was wondering the the sensor affect other things. Like on my truck the ABS light came on and also i have an automatic transmission and i affected it as well. When it shifted it kinda jerked. Did yours do the same thing. Just wondering
