94 F-250 speedometer issue
Hello,
I have a 94 f250 with standard transmission and 4.9 6 cylinder engine. My speedometer stopped funtioning properly. It reads 0 mph until I reach about 45 mph and then it seems to work fine. Any ideas what could be causing this? I've never heard of something like this happening. Thanks in advance.

I'd start by a basic speedo sweep test. hold the reset button in and turn the key to run. The speedo should sweep to full scale. Release the reset button and it should return to 0. This at least checks the speedo mechanically. If this is good, I'd be looking at the VSS...
