Removing bed from Ranger...Procedure? How difficult?

How difficult is it to remove bed? What is procedure? What problems might I encounter because it is old (85)? IYHO...Is this the best way to get to in tank fuel pump/filter? Thanks for your help. Allen

Removing bed from Ranger...Procedure? How difficult?

if your trying to remove your bed you will need to undo the wirring to the tail lights, any exhaust brackets bolted to the bed, gas filler tube, any other obtacles, then the bolts that hold the bed to the chassis, the have a few men help you lift the bed of off the truck, if your trying to get to the fuel pump and stuff just drop the gas tank, its much less work than pullinng off the bed.
