Ok Carolina classics sells a floor pan that it says fits a 65-79 but then it says oversize. Neither LMC, NPD, or Mac's sell a floor pan for a 65-66 but they sell a 67-72 floor pan, NPD says it is 29" wide will this fit my 66 will I have to trim it to size?????????
I'd recommend you call Rick at Carolina Classics and ask him. I'm pretty certain he has those pans made just for himself, and he will be able to tell you what the deal is.
I bought floor pans for my '66 F-100 from I believe Mac's that stated to fit a '66. When the box arrived it was marked for '67-'72. I did alot of measuring before I started cutting out my old floor pans. The new pans had an extra lip on the sides, top and bottom edges, which turned out to be great. I only had to cut out the bottom of the pans since the walls were still good. The new pans fit right in and over lapped on the sides. I only had to cut off about 1/2"-3/4" on one side and on the top of the driver's side to go around the steering column. It was easy to cut with a metal blade in a reciprocating saw. I took some photos of them going in if that'll help.
Good luck.
