1963 F-260

Ok, I am tired of searching. Why is my truck called an F-260, when in all actuallity it is an F-250. Is it because of 4wd?

And, if someone could decode this for me please:

Yup, that's why. And it is called an F250, not a F260.

Yes Sir, That is the reason. 26 & 260 quickly let you know that you have a 4X4.
