For a friend? No.

For my family(wife/kids)? Yes.

Best friend is the little lady, and yes I would. She would do the same.

For a friend, I'd do anything short of giving my life. But for family? In a heartbeat.

I can't answer that. not fair, seen it in combat, even took an insane chance to save a buddy. We both survived, barely.

i would give my life for my wife, the Bible says that we are to love our wives as Jesus loved the Church and gave His life for it.

I would for my wife and family....

Not for sure on the friends. I have helped my friends in many situations which one of them put us both in the hospital for a long time. He was near death. But would probably stick my neck out for him again if need be.

I don't have a friend that close, but if I did, yeah, I could lay my life down for him/her. Their life would be worth so much more than mine, anyway. -TD

I have to agree. If the situation were my buddy in the hospital and needed a heart and only mine was the match, the answer would be 'uh, sorry.' But I'm kind of a renegade type so if there was a chance that I was the only one there and was able to rescue my buddy from a geurilla camp and I could do something I wouldn't think twice about it, for that matter it wouldn't even have to be anyone I knew.
