Why does everybody pick on Ford

Here's my $.0002:
I drive GM cars. Have an old Oldsmobile that refuses to die. I will never own a GM truck. Friends have had amazing problems with the ones that they have owned, not to mention the gas tank issues. The 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission is a fantastic transmission... for a car. I've owned 6 of these over the years, and they never let me down. Two friends have these trannys in their trucks, and have had problems. I will not bash GM here.
I dont drive Ford cars. I drive a Ford truck. Have 2 of them. They are simply the best at what they do.
My first car was a Plymouth Fury II. Nice 383 V8 and was loaded. It ran great, then I got a Pontiac GTO that blew the Plymouth out of the water. Stayed with Pontiac and Oldsmobile after that. The only Pontiac that has been trouble was one that had a Chevy engine in it. The dealer and I never got it straight.
I just dont like the newer cars with the electronic transmissions. When something electric dies, it kills the tranny! It's insane!
