My 86 4 runner weighs 4150, without me in it. Toyotas are heavier and stouter than you might think. But this is irrelevant - Ford oughta be able to design a brake rotor that performs flawlesslessly in a 3/4 ton truck for 100K miles instead of performing poorly for 25K or 20K miles before requiring machining. Its just a heat dissipation problem.

Trash hook, indeed. I have wondered for 2 years what that darn thing was for....and now I know.
