Ok.I extreamly tired right now so forgive me if I'm wrong but you should have one going to the battery, one going to a ground. You should also have one going to the voltage regulator and the wire with the condenser should be run near where the voltage regulator mounts to the inner fender and if I am thinking straight one connecting to a wire harness for dash gauges.I know there is a little more to it than that but it's 5:15 am and I just got in from work and dead tired.I will get my book out today and see what I can find for you.Good luck!

The FLD wire goes to the FLD terminal on the regulator. If you send me your email address to mlh#azdeq.gov (replace the # with the at sign) I will send you back the wiring diagram. It is real simple but without a schematic you are up the creek.

Becarefull not to cause a short by hooking up the wrong wire to a ground which can burn out the alt. or the regulater. Then when it is hooked up properly it still won`t work.

FYI the wiring is slightly different between a truck with an idiot light and those with a guage. STA is not used with a guage. FLD goes to regulator.
