I expected to find a faulty GEM, but it turns out to be a bad connection in the power junction box. Even better news, my warranty hasn't expired yet. I'm the second owner with now 50,000 miles. I bought an extended warranty when I bought the truck. They ordered the part, it's in, now I have to get it installed. Since I haven't actually seen the problem yet, I will ask for the old part for inspection. Perhaps I can say more after I see it.
