front anti lock

I have a 2000 f350 4x4 psd. was putting new breaks, callapers and rotters on today and saw that the prevous owner cut the wires to the sencers off to the anti lock. anyone have any thoughts? should I fix or just let well enough alone.

You sure its the anti-lock he cut and not a vacuum line to the hubs??? He may have swapped the front hubs and bypassed the auto hubs???? Just a thought? I'd think if the anti-lock wires where cut, your brake light indicator on the dash would be on. If it is the anti lock system, I'd get it fixed personally.

He may have been a mudder or often off road. The ABS will kick in while down hill in loose gravel or snow, not a good thing!
I guess pulling the fuse was too hard to do... the bulb has been removed or burned out.
