I have a 2000 Ford F250 7.3L 4 wheel drive and I need to replace the front hub assembly. My truck is rear wheel anti lock brake only. Hubs for a 4 wheel anti lock brake system is about 100 dollars cheaper than the hubs sold for the rear wheel anti lock brake system. Is there a difference on the hubs? Can I use the hubs designed for the 4 wheel anti lock brake system?
FireMe, Thanks for the reply, buying the hub tomorrow and I figured since they have 200,000 miles on them I better replace the other side too. I love working on this truck, real easy to work on.
I did that in July, replaced both of mine. Do yourself a favor and buy new studs, the four that hold the hub to the knuckle. Sooo much easier than trying to remove the old ones.
Mine is '01 F250, 4x4, 7.3. 196,000 at the time.
Tom.
