cylinder head problem

I have a 2002 F250 Super Duty with 49,000 miles. A spark plug blew out of the cylinder head, stripping all the threads. The dealer has to replace the head at a cost of $3000 to me. This small town dealer has done four of these jobs already. This is obviosly some sort of defect that Ford won't own up to. Numerous calls to Ford have gotton me nowhere. Is anyone else out there having this problem?
