93 E150 351 performance mods
122,000 miles. Any ideas. I'd like to get more torque for towing. And don't want to spend $400.00 on a chip.
Anybody try a resister to fool the computer into thinking it's sucking colder air?
BTW what kind of gas milage should I be getting? I know it dependes on the rear end (which off hand I don't know)

A few people on the forum have removed the muffler, supposedly decreases backpressure and increases power, my guess is that it would be a little louder. But probably not that much due to the cat. converter setup and small overall diameter of the exhaust system.
Never tried the computer trickery...
I get between 14 and 15 mpg with my 91, 351W, E4OD and 3.55 gears.
