Since alot of you guys claim to "race" your 4.2L F-150's, (assuming you meant at a drag strip), what are your 1/4 mile times? Just curious. I might race on the street if provoked and I'm in the mood.
I wish I still had my old car. I could do 60 in reverse, no joke. I have heard rumers of some 4.2 stock at 16.00.
On a side note, speaking of racing. I raced today. Some honda civic 5spd, with exhuast. Normally I don't race, but...He pulls up next to me with his fart cannon, rev'in it up. I think nothing at it and as the light turned green I took of as normal. I heard that civic roaring in each gear behind me. Here I am normally accelerating and that thing is barely passing me! SO, I think to myself, this guy has no idea of what he's doing. So next read light. I pull my front end to about his door. Head start for him. Light turns green. I take of normally again till i get head to head. (He floors it). and I punch it pulled infront of him, slammed it in second with tires spinnin, barked it in third up till 80, slowed to 70 and cruised. I had him by 4 car lenghs and I could still hear the 4 cylinder roaring over my own exhuast. He eventually caught up and passed me. Rev'ed it while doing so.
I have a set of 4.10's sitting in my closet still in the box...I'm waiting until I have enough time and money to pay someone to install them. I sure as crap can't!
