Code 63
HI everyone
I have a 89 e150 efi 4.9, I'm getting a code 63 throttle position (TP) circuit fault, below minimum voltage.
Is this the throttle positon sensor ? I changed it back in 06/21/04 and it didnt take the code away, I did clear all codes.
or is it something else

Thx for the reply mustang, I put a new one in and the code is gone.
btw...how do you set it for .9 ?
another prob
code 21,24.....cooling temp sensor, and intake air charge, changed them both in april, could they both be gone again ?
or could it be a wiring prob ?

key on, back probe the wires with a digital multimeter. loosen the screws and adjust the tps for the reading.
check for 5 volts first.
BTW everyone, the book by Probst on EFI systems and sensors is worth the purchase for troubleshooting.

thx mustang sorry to be a pest, I'm new at FI.
I'll try that.
I also just got a code 51 - ECT sensor out of range indicated/circuit open.
I just changed the sensor this april so would this be the circuit itself ?
