trouble code 98
I've been having trouble with my 89 f-350 with a 351w, c6 2wd its running rough, surging idle, stalling the check engine light is on I got 2 codes out of the computer 63 which is a throttle position code and a 98 which is a hard fault in the eec system. the 63 comes on during KOEO tests and running tests the 98 comes on only during running tests. the throttle position sensor checks out fine 5 volts reference from ecm .97 volts at idle 4.97 volts at full throttle. Ive checked power and ground terminals at the 60 pin harness and that checked out and went over the entire engine looking for bad vacume hoses and leaks. I just wanted to see if anybody had any ideas or have had the problem before. I have a manual I,ve been on other websites but nobody explains code 98.
