Question

Prob. engaging 4x4

I have an 82' and my 4wd isn't engaging. They are man. hubs and when they are free, my 4wd shifter was getting stuck inbetween 2wd & 4wd. So I had to make an adjustment on the tranny so that the shifter would stay in 2wd for daily driving. Im not so sure what the problem(s) is? Is it just the tranny bushings for the 4wd shifter or what? I need some help with this one.

How long have you had the vehicle? If it is new to you it might just be a little pilot error.

Well it was my setp fathers. He had flipped it and i think bent the front axels a bit. But he claims it worked fine after the fact.
