Does anyone know if there will be any mid-year modifications to the '05 Expeditions?

haven't heard of any but i am no expert. since they have changed the standard engine and pdated the guages and some options packages, it doesn't seem likely.

Ford said a couple of weeks ago that it was making stability control available on all Explorers and Expys, effective immediately. Standard on Explorers, $595 on Expys.

Thanks for the link... I see that it will remain an option on the 05 Expeditions... anyone else know of any mid year 05 Expedition changes?

Or any info about any changes in store for '06 Expeditions?

No info on the '06 yet, the only other change I noticed for '05 was discontinuation of the NBX model, and the addition of a King Ranch edition (makes me wonder when Ford will be introducing the King Ranch Focus Wagon...).

Interesting news about the 2007 Explorer Sport-Trac, though. There will be no '06 model, and the 2007 switches to the 4-door platform. So that means the Sport-Trac gets IRS, 4.0 V6 or 4.6 V8, a 30% larger cargo box, and possibly a wild new interior with 4 buckets and front-dash-to-rear-window floor console.

Ford's been milking that model for years. It's about thime they put some money into it. It was supposed to be killed 2-3 years ago, but people keep buying them.

Jeff,

What is the King Ranch Edition? Is there any info on how it compares to the other editions or dates for availibility?

Jeff
