Do you fill the Rad to the top or do you use the puke tank (remote overflow)?
Based on what you are saying I would get the cooling system pressure tested see if the head is leaking as well as look at the plugs that can also tell you about a head gasket problem. I think the only thing you may need to get you till summer would be valve seals but if it runs well let it go till you rebuild it in a few months.
all of the plugs are a light brown like they are supposed to be. I do top off the overflow tank. I can see where it is moist around the cylinder head bolt closest to the front of the truck on the carb side.
It may be leaking around the threads of that bolt, take it out and put teflon sealer or
Aviation Permatex (#3 on the threads and reinstall it) torque it to specs. You'll have to be quick about it or you will loose antifreeze, might be wise to get a spare head bolt
as you should clean the threads before reinstalling it.
