toolbox installation
I have an 03 shortbed with those black siderails on the bed and was wondering how I might fasten down an across the bed toolbox on it.I don't want to take the rails off or cut them.I'm pretty sure this can be done.I just seen one today with one on it.I'm just not sure how to secure it.Thanks!

Provided the toolbox fits between the rails, why not fab some spacers (ie, giant washers) to go between the toolbox and the bottom of the bed, drill some holes, and bolt it down. If the toolbox doesn't fit between the rails and if you dont mind the look, make the spacers taller such that the box is on top of the rails.
