Just about all the batteries are made by Johnson Controls, you can go to their website and look up the batteries they make. So then it gets down to price verses amps. The best prices I've found are at Wally's world. Some people will tell you they won't buy a certain brand of battery because it failed. This has more to do with how the battey was initially charged than anything else.

Yours might be wired different, but the EVTM for my 87 Ranger shows that one of the fuse links feeds the EEC main relay.
If it's stuck closed it would explain why pulling all fuses had no effect.
Try removing the relay & see if you lose the draw.

Hey guys I found out what it was. There is a makeshift speed control on it and it was making a constant pull of power . Unhooked it and it is gone. Thanks for all the replys.
