Instrument Panel Swap
I was thinking about purchasing an Instrument Panel from a salvage yard for a Ranger or Explorer with a Tach to put in my 97 Ranger with no tach. I have had the panel out (to change a light bulb) and there are no extra wirring harnesses back there. I would assume that all of these rangers are wired for the Tach display to cut production costs. Has anyone tried this? Or am I stuck with adding an aftermarket Tach?
