I have a 2000 Ford F-250 7.3L PSD. I went out the last night to put the stock program back in it, had the "Tow mode" loaded. It said that it was never saved, but it has always saved it when it loads a tune. So then I tried to load a "85 HP" tune. It said it could write over an already loaded tune. Under the last written tune category shown it shows stock program as the last on written tune and I know for a fact I had the "Tow mode" loaded last. So I looked under the show VIN# category and all it shows is f.ff.ff.f or something to that nature, I'm guessing that isnt typical.
The only thing I can think of that might have caused this is: One morning I forgot to plug my truck in and it was 20 degrees outside. Tried to crank it over and it did for about 2 seconds then the relay started clicking. Like the battery was almost dead.
I had the same exact thing happen to me. I called Diablosport and they walked me through the steps to make it right. They have a code that they have you punch in and it forces the tune back to original. Works great ever since.

Thanks XLRS. I will give Diablosport a call Monday morning and see if they can help me make it right. Did they ever say what caused it to do what it did?
No.
Make sure you are in your truck when you call as they will have you hook up the tool and step you through the process. It was great to get it working again. I really like my predator.

XLRS,
Is this the same phone # you called Diablosport with? 1-561-908-0040? It was the only phone # I could find on there website. Any idea of where there out of?
I e-mailed them from there website. I thought I had the number but can't seem to find it. I believe they are in Florida. They sent me their number by e-mail.

Contacted Diablo and they were able to walk me through resetting the programmer. Some how it was able to reset itself. I asked the tech if this was a common problem, and he said he had seen it a couple of times but is not a major problem. He told me if it happened again to send the programmer in.
Ken, I pull a trailer at about 5000#. Which setting do you think I should run it in? I have 4" exhaust and guages My question is because I live at 4500 feet elevation and drive to 8000 feet. The manual says not to pull in the high altitude tune. What good is high altitude tune then?
What is safe opt. temps for post-turbo. I see varying #'s. My sensor is about 4" away from the turbo outlet.
