Question Distributor caps!

I bought a distributor cap for my 85 f-150 302 Fi.a while ago misplaced it, found it now i need one for my 91 Bronco 351,would those caps be the same?

Yes the cap should be the same. I've never noticed a difference between 302's and 351W dizzies.

Actually 351 distributors are taller than the 302 part, but the cap is probably the same if both have the big cap electronic ignition.

Yeah thats what i was getting at.

The dizzy on a 351 is taller than the 302 b/c a 302 has a 9" block deck height and a 351 a 10". Its not much longer...but a difference.

The caps should be the same, as long as they are the large cap Duraspark-II or TFI ignition systems.

With anything like that, I would go to O'Reilly's or Autozone online and just cross reference the parts.
