Double Shocks!

I'm thinking of putting a double shock set up on the front of my 97 F350. Were can I buy the kit to do the conversion? Any body have a rough idea as to that it'll be worth?? Thanks.

Or try www.4wheelparts.com or www.offroadwarehouse.com or www.tellico4x4.com.

I thought about putting double shocks on the front of my F350 with 33x12.50's on it and stock suspension, but when I really thought of what I was trying to accomplish with the change, I ended up just buying a pair of Bilstein yellow (heavy duty) shocks for the front and I'm quite happy with the result. I get a nice ride that is firm, yet not harsh, and really improved the truck's handling. I really think that for my application, double shocks would have been overkill and probably would have resulted in alot of money spent for a rough ride.

If my tires were alot bigger, I may have done the doubles. I notice that you have the diesel engine, which is heavy. I have the gas engine in my truck, but it is a CrewCab, so I don't know how much difference that makes. I do haul an RV camper on my truck and the single Bilsteins do a fine job with that load.

Check out Bilstein's website for more info: www.bilstein.com.
