2001 Ranger Auto Trans.
I just purchased a used 2001 Ranger Edge with the 4L engine and in reading the owners manual it talks of both a 4 speed and a 5 speed auto trans, but it doesn't tell you which one you have. At the Ford site the 2002 only comes with a 5 speed auto trans so I was thinking maybe Ford upgraded the trans during the 2001 model production year. Mine was built in Feb. 01. Anybody know?
